Finally received the risc-v kvm boards I ordered some months ago. I thought they will be delivering next year, but I guess the new year gifts came early this time 🙂
It’s great timing because now I’m able to plug this into my Dell 7820 server and make sure I’m able to access it remotely while I’m on vacation in Manila.
Sometimes there would be power outages or dips (I have a ups to install be t it can sometimes be unreliable or ineffective) so it would be convenient if I can just remote in to the kvm to do the boot process myself without having to ask someone else in the apartment.
I have the full version and the lite version. I wonder which one I’ll use eventually? Maybe I’ll start off with the lite and see if it does enough (the full version has the LCD and might be more useful for troubleshooting).
